Hi there!

My name is Cornelius - born in Germany to a military family, I was raised in eastern NC, and have been in the sunny state of Florida since 2017.

A few facts about me:

• I have been an athlete all my life. Three humbling experiences from my time as an athlete: (1) walking on to the East Carolina University football team in 2012, which was a very short-lived experience, (2) spending some time trying out for a few semi-pro soccer teams, and (3) my first CrossFit workout.

• I grew up with only dogs, however, I now have two beautiful cats, Fiona and Beatrice, that I love immensely.

• I never intended to be a business owner, however, when I realized that I was able to help others in a unique and meaningful way, I decided to take a chance on my vision.

From my own experiences as well as the stories of my clients, I’ve learned that so many of us spend irretrievable amounts of our time doing the things that we are not passionate about to attain “enough” money by a certain age with the hope of being able to live the lives we have been dreaming of living for many years. I believe this approach is fundamentally wrong and inadequate. My belief is that we should start placing important tools in our hands earlier to take control of our lives. I believe that there needs to be a priority on financial literacy, exposure to financial resources, and building a financial foundation needs to start sooner.

This is how Copilot Financial emerged. I launched Copilot to partner with families and business owners to help folks experience the lifestyle that they want, not just in “retirement,” but by building a secure and healthy financial foundation. By partnering together to become better educated, better aware, and highly intentional of how to allow money to work with a purpose for what’s most important to you, we help to free up your time and build confidence that you are on track to your financial goals! My goal is to partner alongside you and become your copilot!
