  • Copilot Financial is a fee-only firm, meaning I get paid only by you, the client, not by selling any products or making any referrals to other providers all to earn a commission.
  • We are a fiduciary, so your interests are our first and our only concern. This means that if I recommend an insurance policy or a mutual fund to you or suggest you take some action, I’ve done so because I think it serves your needs the best, not because I am making money off of it.

Do I need a certain amount of money to partner with you?

  • No. To partner with Copilot Financial, there is no minimum requirement of assets to manage.

Do I pay for the first meeting?

  • No. The introductory meeting is meant for us to get acquainted and see if we are a good fit together. There are no expectations of signing any contracts in this meeting.
  • In fact, it’s intentional that we rarely sign a contract during the first meeting to become a client. This is a long term relationship for the both of us that shouldn’t be rushed into.

Why should I work with a financial advisor?

  • It’s one-thing to document your plan on paper, it's another to stay on track and be held accountable. A financial advisor that acts in your best interest will help you stay accountable as well as free up your time to help with your financial decisions. Copilot Financial is in your corner looking out for your financial well-being to help you stay on track. Life evolves, changes and has seasons. So do your plans. Our goal is to partner alongside you to help give you confidence in your financial decisions and free up your time, helping to enable you to live a higher-quality and more confident life.
  • Whether it be the lack of time, skill or discipline, Copilot Financial helps you by doing the heavy-lifting, time-demanding research to provide objective advice that is personalized and aligned for your best interest to help you reach your goals.

Why should I work with you instead of doing it myself?

  • Doing it yourself is like completing a never ending, always evolving home renovation. You’ll need to watch YouTube videos, filter and read articles on multiple websites, go through trial and error, etc. all in the hopes that doing it yourself will save money. This will likely:
    1. take a lot of your free time
    2. cause added stress/frustrations
    3. result in missing things you didn’t know to look out for
  • You probably could do this, but it comes down to determining the best use of your time. We can’t go to your kid’s after school events or that weekend event or just simply spend time with the people you enjoy, but we can free up your time so you can be present making memories.
  • In addition, money is understandably emotional. It is really hard to make objective financial decisions when you are so close to the situation. It's become commonplace to hear news and receive information-overload about the market/finances and not know how or even what affects you. We partner with our members to be their copilot through the noise, fog and uncertainty to bring assurance and strengthen their confidence to send the message that you are on the right track.
